1st Annual Fullerton Water Safety Day

According to the American Red Cross, more than half of the American population does not know how to swim. How can we make everyone in Fullerton water safe? Join us as we pursue this goal at the Janet Evans Swim Complex on Sunday, June 29, 2025, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Free Lessons

Beginning May 15, 2025 (International Water Safety Day) through the month of June, FAST’s Level 1 Adult learn-to-swim lessons will be available for no cost. Check the available days & times HERE and use the promo code FASTANDFREE at checkout. The promo code use is unlimited. Tell a friend!

On Sunday, June 29, 2025, FAST hosts the first annual Fullerton Water Safety Day. At the event, anyone age 5 or older has the opportunity to participate in free basic skills lessons with the goal of learning to float. Doors open at 10:00 AM. Advance sign-up is appreciated, but not required. Details soon.

World Record Attempt

One fun goal of our Water Safety Day is to set a world record for the number of people floating in the pool at one time. A tutorial will be provided prior to the attempt and we’ll see what we can do. If you’re not already a world class floater, our free lessons are designed to help you!

Free Access for the Day

After the world record attempt, our regular Sunday Family/Rec Swim is available at no cost to attendees and non-attendees alike. Free basic skills lessons will continue throughout the Rec Swim time.

Please contact us if you are interested in attending Fullerton Water Safety Day with a large group (i.e., school or camp, sports team, church group). This will help us better prepare to support your group.
